Privacy
What we collect, how long we keep it, and who else touches it. Every retention period below is enforced by code, not by good intentions.
What we collect
The golf swing video you upload. Your email address. Optionally your name, and the height, club and handedness you tell us, which the measurements use.
The pages leading up to your upload carry Meta's advertising pixel and Google Analytics. Both set cookies and record that a browser visited those pages. That is how we find out whether an advert brought anyone here and which parts of the site people actually use. They run on the landing page, the upload pages and the checkout pages.
Neither runs on your report. A report is your swing analysis, and no advertising network or analytics service is told that you opened it.
When you submit your email or buy the full plan, we also tell Meta from our own servers that it happened, so that those two things are counted even when a browser blocks the pixel. Your email address is hashed before it is sent - Meta receives a fingerprint of it rather than the address - along with your IP address and browser. Your name is never sent, and nothing measured from your swing is ever sent.
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising beyond what is described here.
What we do with it
The video is analysed frame by frame by a computer vision model to measure body positions through your swing. Those measurements become your report.
Your email is used for two things: sending you the link to your report, and at most one follow-up message a day later if you have not opened the full plan. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops the follow-up without affecting your report.
How long we keep it
Your uploaded video is deleted 48 hours after the analysis finishes. That window exists so a broken report can be diagnosed against the real footage; after it, the file is gone from our storage and we cannot get it back.
Your report is kept for 90 days and then deleted, along with the still frames and short clips inside it. Both deletions are performed automatically by a routine that runs continuously, not by someone remembering.
Your email address and the record that a job existed are kept until you ask us to remove them, so that we can honour an unsubscribe and answer a question about a past order.
Who else handles your data
We do not sell your data or hand it to anyone for their own purposes. Apart from the advertising pixel described above, we rely on a small number of suppliers to run the service, and your data passes through them:
Cloudflare R2 stores the video and the report. Fly.io runs the website. Neon hosts the database. Resend delivers the emails. Stripe processes payment. Google Analytics counts visits to the public pages.
Anthropic's Claude model writes the coaching text. It is sent your measurements only - numbers such as spine angle and tempo, plus the club and handedness. Your video, your name and your email are never sent to it, and the analysis itself is not done by a language model.
Payment card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout page and never reach our servers. Stripe sets its own cookies on that page under its own policy.
Meta receives, through the pixel and the server-side reporting described above, the fact that a browser visited our public pages, that an email was submitted, and that a purchase was made - with a hashed form of your email address attached to those last two. It is never told your name or anything measured from your swing.
Where your data is
Our servers and storage are in the United States. If you are uploading from elsewhere, your data is transferred there for processing.
Other people in your video
A golf swing video often catches other people in the background, and sometimes the golfer is not the person uploading. Please only upload footage you are entitled to, and make sure anyone clearly identifiable in it is comfortable with you doing so. If you believe a video of you was uploaded without your agreement, email support@flushdai.com and we will delete it.
Your choices
Unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of any email we send you.
Ask us to delete everything we hold about you by emailing support@flushdai.com. We will do it and confirm when it is done. You can also ask for a copy of what we hold, or for a correction to it.
